A recent blog-deletion scare has left me concerned of this site's possible termination. Just wanted to let everyone know just in case this site and links get deleted.
Hopefully I can go through and back everything I can onto MEGA and possibly another site for downloads. If all else e-hentai and most likely exhentai has I believe everything I've translated and posted here-- most uploaded by myself. If there is anything missing, please be sure to notify. I SHOULD have everything on my hard drive in case of a major takedown/C&D.
Yeah, this is a definite risk. Few hours ago this blog was reported as deleted, seems to be better now though.

ReplyDeleteWould you be open to a suggestion ? Blogspot offers to export all of your blog posts into a file that you can store on your hard disk. And, later on, it's possible to import that blog file into another blog platform.
I really strongly recommend you do that.
In the worst case (it would suck, but, heh, that happens, Blogspot deleted me in 2007, after this I became self-hosted -_-), you wouldn't have to start from scratch, all that would change would be your online URL, the posts wouldn't be lost.
Besides, did you consider asking a hentai blogs friendly hoster, like Ryuu from ryuutama.com, or Jacob from Fakku ? With them, you'd be officially safe :)

ReplyDeleteSome blog platforms offer to import for you your posts and all, not from an export file, but directly from your blogspot blog.
However, that requires that your blog still exists, of course.
My point : better make a backup early than late, you never know :)
A harm-free option could be to create yourself a wordpress.com blog, set it as private so that there would be no duplicate confusion issue, and make wordpress import your stuff ( http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/ ). Like an online backup for safety.

''This blog has been archived or suspended for a violation of our Terms of Service.''
And what are their Terms of Service?
the Content is not pornographic, does not contain threats or incite violence, and does not violate the privacy or publicity rights of any third party;
Blogger is a dodgy on the subject, but .wordpress.com? They make it quite plain.
